Study Pathways of International Students in Australia, 2008

Wednesday, 30 July 2008

Australia has a system of inter-sectoral linkages based primarily on the Australian Qualification Framework which also incorporates ELICOS, Foundation Studies and other areas of study which are currently outside the Framework. Many students who come to Australia follow study pathways through our education system, rather than limiting their study to one area of education.

This paper is an annual update to a series of AEI research papers on international student pathways. It examines and compares the study pathways of two international student cohorts over a three year period to identify recent pathway trends.
